Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before you submit your order to us.

We are S.K Camping and Leisure Ltd a company registered in England and Wales.

We may amend the Terms from time to time and you are advised to check them regularly for any changes which we make. If you think that there is a mistake with these terms, please contact us to discuss.

It is our responsibility to supply you with goods that meet your consumer rights. If you have any concerns that we have not met our legal obligations please contact us.

Placing an Order:

1. The Order you place constitutes an offer to purchase the Products in accordance with these terms. You are responsible for ensuring that the terms of the Order are correct. Please read and check your Order before confirming your purchase.
2. We will send you an order confirmation email detailing the products you have purchased.
3. Your Order will only be deemed accepted by us when you have paid for the Products, monies received by us and the Products have been dispatched. Any email, order confirmation or other electronic acknowledgement by us of receipt of an Order does not constitute legal acceptance by us of your Order. We will confirm our acceptance to you by sending you an email confirming that the Products have been dispatched. The Contract between us is formed when we send you an email confirming that the Products have been dispatched.
4.  If we are unable to accept your order, we will inform you and not charge you for the product. Non acceptance of the order may be a result of one of the following.

• The product is out of stock
• Unable to obtain authorisation for your payment.
• We have identified an error in the pricing and product description. 

Cancellation of Contract:

You are entitled to cancel the contract if you wish provided that you exercise this right and notify us no longer than 14 after the day on which you receive the products and then you have a further 14 days to return the product back to us.

If you cancel your contract with us we will refund the original purchase price and when charged the cost of standard delivery, provided that you have notified us in no longer than 14 working days from which you receive the products.

Please note that we reserve the right to reduce/refuse the refund if the products are not in a re-saleable condition, if this has been caused by using them, handling them or not taking reasonable care of the product.

Once you have notified us of your wish to cancel, we will give a refund as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days of the date of your order.

To cancel a contract with us, you need to let us know that you have decided to cancel. Please let know by doing one of the following:

Returns

Once you have notified us of you wish to cancel, we require you to return the products to us at your own expense and risk as soon as possible, by:

• Any product that has been used and no longer considered new will incur a charge of usage (residual value) This will be a 20% charge.
• Duly pack the parcel back up and enclose a copy of your receipt along with the goods you wish to return. Failure to do this will prevent us from identifying your order and processing accordingly.
• Return the goods to the following address:

• We highly recommend using a trackable service and obtaining proof of postage
• You must take care to ensure that the products are not damaged in transit, this including making sure that they are securely packaged. We cannot be responsible for lost or damaged returns as the products remain your risk until signed for by S.K Camping and Leisure Ltd.
• If you require S.K Camping & Leisure Ltd to collect an unwanted item, a £18 delivery fee will have to be taken off the refund issued.
• If your product is excessively large/heavy we can arrange for a courier to collect it at a price agreed by both parties. All products being returned back to us must be boxed/securely packaged and ready for collection, failure to do so may result in a failed collection and additional costs may be applied. All collections will be made between Monday to Friday.
• The delivery charge will not be returned on orders that are returned unwanted.
• All orders can be returned in person in store with a proof of purchase.

Damaged or Defective Returns

If you wish to return a product that you believe is damaged or faulty please call us on 01342 893 881 between 9:30am - 5:30pm Monday to Saturday and 10am - 4:30pm Sunday/Bank Holidays during the summer (April - September) or 10am - 5pm Monday to Saturday and 10am - 4pm Sunday/Bank Holidays during the winter (October - March) We will discuss with you the best method of returning the product.

Upon receipt by us of the product, we will examine them for the damage/defect. If the fault is obvious and inherent, we will process the refund, repair or exchange at your choice within 14 days of receipt of the goods. If the fault is not obvious we may need to return the goods to the supplier for testing. A response from the suppliers is normally given within 4 weeks along with a charge if found not to be faulty.

In some circumstances S.K Camping and Leisure Ltd may test the product and provide evidence of doing so.

All products must be dry and clean before they are returned to us.

Please note that due to Health and Safety reasons we are unable to offer this on used portable toilets.

If we do find a fault or defect we will either refund you the price you paid for the product plus the original delivery cost (if applicable) or after consulting with you, have the product repaired, replaced or an alternative replacement of the same price paid sent to you.

If you wish to exchange the product for a more expensive one, the balance of the price owed to us must be paid prior to dispatching the goods to you. If the alternative replacement is cheaper than the original product, we will give you a refund for the balance, less the cost of delivery of the new product.

We will replace the goods, repair or refund you provided that the defect or fault is not caused by usual wear and tear, damage caused deliberately or accidentally, your negligence or if you fail to follow product instructions of if the goods have been misused, altered or repaired without approval. If this is found to be the case then we will contact you to ask whether you wish the product to be returned to you or repaired, if a repair is feasible. In these circumstances both the cost of the repair and return of the goods to you would be at your expense.

Please note that we reserve the right not refund or replace any returns, if you fail to provide us with proof of purchase for the goods/return of goods which are faulty, or not of satisfactory quality, or not fit for purpose, or which do not correspond to their description.

Prices and VAT

All prices quoted are in pounds sterling and include VAT at the current rate charged in the UK, where appropriate. We make every effort to keep the prices up to date but we reserve the right to change prices at any time without notice.

We may amend prices at any time. Where there is a difference between a price at the time the order is made and when we ship your order, we will inform you by email or telephone and ask if you wish to proceed. If your decline and for any reason payment has already been taken, it will be re-credited.

It may be that prices are incorrectly quoted or changed due to external circumstances. We have not statutory obligation to sell goods at the price quoted if that price is incorrect.

Payments

We accept payment via PayPal/ShopPay/ApplePay & GooglePay to process payments and most major credit and debit cards including Visa, MasterCard, Maestro and American Express. You must only use a card if you are the named cardholder. By placing an order, you confirm that you are the authorised cardholder. All credit and charge card holders are subject to validation and security checks as well as authorisation by the card issuer and any additional terms imposed by the issuer. If the issuer does not authorise payment, we will not accept your order and will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery.

Pay and Collect

Pay and Collect is available on all items online. If in stock, the product will be available for immediate collection.

Any product not in stock at our store can usually be ordered from our Supplier to collect within 3-5 days.

You will be notified as soon as the item is available at our store.

On collection of your order you will need to provide a copy of your order confirmation and one form of ID.

Personal Information

S.K Camping and Leisure Ltd are committed to protecting and respecting your privacy and treat all your personal information as confidential (although we reserve the right to disclose this information in the circumstances set out below). We will keep it on a secure server and we will fully comply with all applicable UK Data Protection and consumer legislation from time to time in place.

Information you give us: The information you may provide about you - your name, e-mail address, billing address, delivery address, phone number, financial and credit card information. We may also collect and our third party providers of advertisements and content may collect information about you on the internet.

Information about your visit to our site including the URL you came from, IP address, domain types like .co.uk and .com), your browser type, the country and telephone area code where your computer is located, the products you viewed or searched for and other pages that were viewed during your visit. We may collect this information even if you do not register with us.

We use your information to provide you with information about other goods and services. To notify you about changes to our service. To serve website content and advertisements to you. To administer this website.
You information may be disclosed to reputable third parties who will help process your order.

If we are requested by the police or any other regulatory or government authority investigating suspected illegal activities to provide your personal information and/or user information, we are entitled to do so.

We use Cookies to keep track of your current shopping session to personalise your experience and so that you may retrieve your shopping basket at any time. If you do not accept cookies you will be unable to use this website for shopping purposes, only for browsing and research.

Guarantee

All our products come with a 12 months manufacturing warranty against defects from the date of purchase. For products that are faulty within 30 days of purchase we will offer a full refund, repair or exchange.

After 30 days we shall arrange to have the item repaired or replaced after it has been inspected.

The guarantee does not cover wear and tear, damage caused deliberately or accidentally, your negligence or if you fail to follow product instructions or if the goods have been misused, altered or repaired without approval.

Fibreglass and steel poles are considered consumable parts and are excluded from the manufacturers guarantee unless otherwise stated.

Nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to affect your consumer rights relating to faulty or misdescribed goods. For further information about these rights you may contact either the Citizens Advice Consumer Helpline, your local Citizens Advice Bureau or your local authority Trading Standards Service.

Description of products

Each product purchased is sold subject to its product description which sets out additional specific conditions related to that product including, without limitation terms and conditions concerning estimated delivery dates and times, warranties, after-sales service and guarantees.

We will take all reasonable care to ensure that all details, descriptions and prices of products appearing on the website are correct at the time when the relevant information was entered onto the system.

The images of the products on our website are illustrative purposes only. Although we have made every effort to display the colours accurately, we cannot guarantee that a device’s display of the colours accurately reflects the colour of the products. S.K Camping and Leisure Ltd reserves the right to alter specifications as considered necessary without notice.

All weights and sizes are supplied as a guide only and are approximate.

Delivery

We aim to deliver within the indicative timescales shown on our website. References to "working days" shall mean Monday to Friday only. Our standard delivery charges only include delivery to UK mainland address. For any other address please contact us to get confirmation that we can deliver the products and obtain a delivery cost before placing the order. If we are unable to deliver the products within the indicated timescale, we shall use reasonable efforts to inform you by email or telephone and give you an amended delivery date/time.

Goods will be delivered to the address which you provide in the order process. You must provide a valid address for delivery.

All goods are sent by courier and will require a signature, under no circumstances will goods be left unless signed for. In the event when a signature is unattainable after 2 attempts, the delivery address will be carded and a depot contact number supplied. We will not be responsible for any additional charges for failed delivery attempts.

All your goods should arrive in perfect condition, however if you do receive any goods that appears to be faulty or damaged, we must be advised within 30 days of receipt. We will do everything possible to ensure your delivery arrives on time and intact, we will not accept responsibility for any additional expenses incurred due to late or incomplete deliveries.

Our Rights in the Goods

All ownerships rights known as intellectual property rights in the Goods including all designs, trademarks, brand names, images and logos are and shall remain our property or those of our licensors. At no time shall any rights, title or interest in the intellectual property rights pass to you.

Compliance with the Laws

The website may be used only for lawful purposes and in a lawful manner. You agree to comply with all applicable laws, statutes and regulations regarding the website and any transactions conducted on or through the website.

Limitations of Liability

While we will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any information we place on the website, we make no warranties, whether express or implied in relation to its accuracy.

We make no warranty that the website will meet your requirements or will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or the server that makes it available are free of viruses or bugs or represents the full functionality, accuracy and reliability of the website. We will not be responsible or liable to you for any loss of content or material uploaded or transmitted through the website.

We only supply the goods for domestic and private use. You agree to use the goods for any commercial, business or resale purposes and we have no liability for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption or loss of business opportunity.

We will not be liable, whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or restitution or for breach of statutory duty or misrepresentation, other otherwise for any:

• Loss of profit; or
• Loss of goodwill; or
• Loss of anticipated saving; or
• Special, indirect or consequential damage suffered by you;

Nothing in the conditions or elsewhere will exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence or any acts or omissions by us or any liability for fraudulent misrepresentation or fraud or liability which we are responsible for in relation to consumer protection rights or for any other matters which it would be illegal for us to exclude. Your legal rights are not affected.

Events Outside Our Control

We will not be liable or responsible for any failure to perform, or delay in performance of, any of our obligations under a Contract that is caused by an Event Outside Our Control. An Event Outside Our Control means any act or event beyond our reasonable control, including without limitation strikes, lock-outs or other industrial action by third parties, civil commotion, riot, invasion, terrorist attack or threat of terrorist attack, war (whether declared or not) or threat or preparation for war, fire, explosion, storm, flood, earthquake, subsidence, epidemic or other natural disaster, or failure of public or private telecommunications networks or impossibility of the use of railways, shipping, aircraft, motor transport or other means of public or private transport.

General

We may amend these Terms at any time and without notice to you. Any change will take effect immediately after being posted on the Website and will be deemed to be accepted by any person who uses the website. Where you have already placed an order which we have accepted, the contract will remain subject to the version of the terms which were in place at the time at which you placed your order.

Only We and You have rights under this contract. This means that no other person can enforce the terms of this contract or rely on the rights under it.

The Contract is the entire agreement and understanding between Us in respect of its subject matter and will supersede and replace any prior agreements, understandings or arrangements whether written or verbal. We each acknowledge that in entering into the Contract neither of us has relied on any representation or promise given by the other or implied from anything said or written other than as specifically set out in the Contract or on the Website. These Terms are governed by English law. This means a Contract for the purchase of goods through our website and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it will be governed by English law. You and we both agree to that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident of Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident of Scotland, you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
